Kokura manufactured series 20's from 1939 - 1945 and produced 100,000 series 20's. The serial number of my rifle is 55897. The "Japtalian" is a Carcano with an Arisaka magazine. The TYPE I Carcano is completely different from the Type 38 except the sights, follower and floor plate.
